On Friday October 19, 2018, torrential rains resulted in widespread flooding mainly in Eastern & Central Trinidad. This resulted in severe flooding exacerbating existing riverine flooding, devastating floods resulting in horrific losses to homes and cars being covered with 10 feet of water. Target Solutions Ltd in conjunction with the Rapid Relief Team of Trinidad and Tobago (RRT) is committed to feeding and helping thousands of people in affected areas. The RRT started this week in the Kelly, St. Helena area and are moving into Bamboo later in the week. They served over 1,000 hot meals yesterday to flood victims who are trying to salvage their personal belongings and deal with the aftermath of this natural horrific disaster.
